This is a great way to start off a cold morning...
List of Ingredients
6 c. water
3 c. old fashioned oats
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. granola
3/4 c. small bits of dried raisins -- apples, dates etc.
1/2 c. brown sugar
Recipe
Put water, oatmeal, salt and cinnamon in a 6 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to med. to low heat; cover and cook til thick. Add granola, fruit (have to have the dried apples), and brown sugar. Stir in and let set for 5 minutes. Serve (with half and half of course :-)
