Oatmeal Cake
List of Ingredients
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts
Topping:
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup canned milk
4 tablespoons butter
Recipe
Pour boiling water over oatmeal in mixing bowl. Add butter and let cool. Stir in remainder of ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan; bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until done. Mix topping ingredients together; when cake gets baked, put topping on cake and bake 8-10 minutes or until topping bubbles all over.
