1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 tsp grnd. ginger
1/2 tsp coarsely ground pepper
8 chicken legs or equivalent amnt of chicken -- to 10 pieces
Recipe
In small saucepan combine and cook over med. heat til mixture thickens and bubbles.
Skin and remove fat from 2 fryers or parts. Brush with glaze. Turn over in greased, shallow pan. Bake @425` 30 min. Brush with glaze every 10 min. Turn right side up again and bake 30 min. brushing occasionally with glaze.
