Beef and Barley Soup with Garlic & Thyme

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs stew meat cut up in bite sized pieces
1 onion chopped
2 14 oz. beef broth (Swansons)
1 qt. beef broth
1 28 oz. Trader Joes Marinara starter sauce
4 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. thyme
1 c. barley
salt and freshly ground pepper -- to taste
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce -- (1 to 2)
3 cups vegetables

Brown stew meat if desired. I just put it in the crockpot raw. Put all except veggies in the crock pot and let it cook on low all day. About 1 -2 hours before you serve add 3 c. frozen mixed veggies. If you want to, add carrots and celery etc, earlier in the day. I added a bag of frozen mixed veggies.
