Recipe Introduction
This recipe was passed around my husband's family in the 50's and 60's. It is still one of our favorites. It is great for picnics as there is no frosting.
List of Ingredients
Cake:
1 package lemon cake mix
1 package lemon instant pudding
4 eggs
3/4 cup salad oil
3/4 cup water
Glaze:
1 - 6 ounce can lemonade concentrate
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons salad oil
Recipe
Cake: Beat all ingredients together. Pour into 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Glaze: Mix all ingredients then pour over hot cake that has been pricked with a fork. Return to oven 5 more minutes with oven off.
