    1/2 cup butter (no substitute)
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 cup pecan halves, toasted
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups powdered sugar

    Recipe



    In large saucepan bring butter, cream granulated sugar, brown sugar and salt to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Add powdered sugar,stir until smooth and well combined. Spread into 8 inch square, well buttered pan. Cool at room temperature. Store in air tight container.
