    Cabbage Leaves Stuffed with Sausage

    List of Ingredients




    8 large cabbage leaves, blanched
    2 Johnsonville Italian Burger patties, cooked and crumbled (other flavors OK)
    1 cup cooked long grain rice
    1/4 cup thinly sliced scallions
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/2 cup diced tomato (1 small)
    1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
    1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
    pepper
    2 cups tomato sauce
    1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese


    Recipe



    Thoroughly mix all ingredients except cabbage, tomato sauce and cheese.
    Put 2-3 heaping tablespoons of filling on a cabbage leaf.
    Roll up to encase.
    Repeat until all are filled and rolled.

    Place 1/4 cup of sauce in bottom of casserole dish, place cabbage roles in dish.
    Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake in 375ºF oven for 25 minutes.
