FILL 10 INCH PIE PLATE 2/3 FULL WITH SLICED PEELED APPLES.
SPRINKLE 1 TABLESPOON OF SUGAR AND 1 TABLESPOON OF CINNAMON
OVER THE TOP.
IN A SMALL BOWL COMBINE:
* 1 CUP FLOUR
* 1 CUP SUGAR (BROWN OR WHITE OR COMBINATION)
* 3/4 CUP OF OATS (NOT INSTANT) OR GROUND
WALNUTS
* 1 PINCH SALT
* 1 EGG
* 3/4 CUP MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINE (OIL DOES NOT WORK IN THIS RECIPE)
MIX WELL. IT WILL BE VERY THICK. SPREAD OVER APPLES. BAKE AT 350
FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL BROWNED ON TOP.
