    Vanilla Refrigerator Cookies

    Source of Recipe

Old recipe and not sure where I found it.

    Recipe Introduction

These are cookies like grandma used to make. They are so easy. I make the dough day before and refrigerate them overnight. You can freeze the dough in logs also and bake when needed. Enjoy!

    List of Ingredients

    3 c. flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. oleo
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 tsp vanilla
    4 T. milk

Cream oleo and sugar together; add eggs. Mix in flour, soda, and salt. Add vanilla and milk. Mix well.

Roll into 3 logs and wrap in waxed paper or saran wrap.
    Refrigerate overnight.
Slice thin and put on a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

I sprinkle with sugar while warm or cool and frost with a white frosting.

Variety: Add a square of melted chocolate to dough.

    Yield--6 dozen
