    I won the pie contest at the Fall Festival a few years ago.
    Eating while warm with a scoop of ice cream is heavenly.

    List of Ingredients




    4-6 large apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon

    Topping
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c softened butter
    1/3 c. chopped pecans

    I unbaked pie crust

    Recipe



    Slice apples and mix with 1/2 c. sugar
    Add cinnamon and mix well. Place in unbaked pie shell.

    Topping:
    Mix together
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. oleo
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    Mix until crumbly and place on top of apples.

    Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.


    I mix the kinds of apples. Golden delicious and Gala.
