French Dressing---------Nancy Beckley
This recipe comes from a former restaurant in Plymouth, NH which closed
back in the 70's. It was called The Open Gate.
French Salad Dressing
Add all of the following into a blender:
1 T. salt
1 T. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 T. paprika
1 tsp dry mustard (heaping)
3/4 cup sugar
1 can Campbell's tomato soup
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1 1/2 cup Wesson oil
2 cloves garlic or - I use minced in oil type
1 T. celery seed
Turn on to blend or medium speed and mix approx 2 minutes. Scrape down
sides if necessary. The reason this is made in a blender is that it
will never separate. It has a wonderful flavor. I have also made this
and given it as Holiday gifts in a cruet.!
