Spinach Salad Dressing

Recipe Introduction


Marie brought this to a potluck and everyone asked her to share the recipe. Marie was the head cook at our parish grade school for many years.


List of Ingredients




1 small onion, chopped
1 c. vegetable oil or olive oil
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1 T. yellow mustard
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Put all ingredients into a jar and shake well. Let blend for several hours before serving time. This makes enough for two big salads. I think it would be good on any lettuce salad.

fresh romaine
mushrooms
water chestnuts
2 hard boiled eggs
1 small red onion, sliced thin
