Hot Fudge Sauce--- Nancy Beckley
This recipe for Hot Fudge Sauce comes from an old ice cream parlor in
Boston Ma....hence it is known as:
Bailey's Hot Fudge Sauce
2 squares of individually wrapped unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
pinch of salt
2 cups confectionary sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk ( 1med can )
Slowly melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler. When melted
remove from heat and add sugar and milk alternately along with pinch of
salt. Whisk together until smooth then replace back above heat and
cook at medium heat until sauce begins to thicken, approx 10 minutes.
Maybe stored in refrigerator and reheated..won't last long, it is so
good!
Makes 2 cups.
Nancy is one of my cyber buddies !!!! If she says it is good----- it is!!!!!!!!!!!!
