    Peking Pecans

    This is easy and a hit with men.


    List of Ingredients


    6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) butter or margarine
    4 cups pecan halves
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    salt and pepper to taste. Be careful with the salt as the soy is salty


    Instructions


    1.Melt the butter and add to the pecans. Toss to coat throughly. Spread on cookie sheet and bake for about 30
    minutes at 300 degrees. Stir while baking once or twice. Watch carefully as it is easy to burn them. Remove
    from oven and cool 2 minutes, then toss with soy sauce, salt (go easy) and pepper. Serve at room
    temperature. Keep in refrigerator. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.

    2.I have not always payed attention to what I am doing and have added the soy sauce before baking and it
    dosn't seem to make a difference. So don't panic if you do that.
