Apricot Bread

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup smipped, dried apricots
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 Teaspoons butter or oleo, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes.
- In mixing bowl, cream sugar, oleo, and egg. Stir in orange juice.
- Combine remining ingredients except nuts. Mix well.
- Add nuts.
- Pour into a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until tested as done.
