    Simple and easy and very moist.

    List of Ingredients




    1 Betty Crocker Super Moist butter pecan cake mix
    1 package ( 4 serving size ) vanilla instant pudding
    3/4 cup water
    1/3 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 cup dark rum or 2 tsp rum extract
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup betty crocker vanilla frosting
    2 tsp dark rum or 1/2 tsp rum extract
    1/4 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour 12 cup bundt pan. Beat dry cake mix, dry pudding mix, water, sour cream, butter, and 1/4 cup rum ( or 2 tsp extract) and eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Spread in pan.

    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Cool completely about 2 hours. Microwave frosting in small microwave bowl uncovered for 15 seconds. Stir in 2tsp rum or 1/2 tsp extract. Pour over top of cake and top off with chopped pecans.


    I've made this many times to take to friends and family after a loss in their family. Its very good.
