- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap one slice of bacon around a water chestnut and secure with toothpick. Repeat until all water chestnuts are wrapped. Bake in 13 X 9 pan for approx. 1 hour at 325.
- Drain; mix ketchup and sugar and cook until sugar is dissolved. Pour over "crickets". Bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve warm.
