- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add warm water a little at a time and knead by hand until a soft but not sticky dough forms. Cover bowl and let stand 15 minutes.
- Pull off egg size balls of dough and roll into rounds 1/4 inch thick. Pierce several times with fork. Fry in a heavy skillet with deep fat until bubbles form, turn and fry other side. Fry at 360 degrees.
