MY BUTTERMILK BREAD

List of Ingredients
- 6 cups unsifted flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Instructions
- Combine 2 cups flour with dry ingredients.
- Heat liquids till warm.
- Will look kurdled.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of flour.
- Beat on high to 2 min.
- Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. (about 2 cups)
- Knead on floured board for 8 to 10 min.
- Placed in greased bowl.
- Cover and let rise till doubled. (about 1 hour)
- Punch out down and cut into rolls or make 2 loaves.
- Let rise again.
- Bake at 375 until brown.
