List of Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 lbs. pecans
- 2 lbs. dates
- 1 lb. pineapple
- 1 lb. cherries (red and green)
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 T. vanilla
Instructions
- Sift flour and baking powder, add nuts and dried fruit. Set aside.
- Beat eggs and gradually add sugar. Add salt and vanilla and add this mixture to the fruit. Pour into well greased tube pan. (Mixture will be stiff) Bake 2 1/2 hours at 250.
- Makes 8 lbs.
