    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/3 c. sugar, divided
    • 2/3 c. margarine
    • 3 eggs
    • 1/3 c. cocoa
    • 1/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell


    Instructions


    1. Melt butter and add to 2/3 cup sugar. Beat well (until creamy). Add the remaining sugar, chocolate and eggs. Beat well again. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and cook slowly in 275 to 300 oven. When crust forms on top, take from oven and cool. Bake approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
