    List of Ingredients


    • 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
    • 3 cups granulated sugar
    • 5 eggs
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour large tube or Bundt pan.
    2. With electric mixer, cream together margarine and shortening. Beat in sugar until well mixed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add vanilla to milk and set aside.
    3. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Add to sugar mixture, alternately with milk and vanilla, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
    4. Pour into prepared pan. Place pan in center of oven and bake approximately 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not overbake!
    5. Cool in the pan, on a rack for 20 minutes. Invert onto a plate and cool completely before serving.
