    MICROWAVE PEANUT PATTIES

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 c. sugar
    • 1/2 c. water
    • Dash of salt
    • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
    • 1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    • 2 T. butter or oleo
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • 2 - 3 drops of red food coloring


    Instructions


    1. Combine sugar, water, salt and syrup in 2 quart measuring cup. Bring to boil in microwave (approximately 3 minutes). Stir and add peanuts. Return to microwave and cook peanuts 8 minutes. Remove. Add butter, vanilla and color. Cool and beat until creamy. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet or waxed paper.
