DIABETIC SUPER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

- 1 packet Butter Buds, made into liquid
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sifted whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (6 oz.) chocolate chips
- 2 cups 40% bran flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Spray 2 cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
- In large mixing bowl, combine Butter Buds, oil, and sugar.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Mix dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips and cereal.
- Drop by rounded teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Remove cookies immediately to cooling racks.
