- 1 pkg extra lean stew meat
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1 small can whole mushrooms
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1 pkg. egg noodles, cooked
Instructions
- Using a large skillet or a 3 qt. sauce pan brown stew meat that has been dusted with flour, salt and pepper in a small amount of cooking oil. When browned add beef broth. Cook on low heat until tender.
- Add mushrooms. In a cup mix about 2 tablespoons corn starch and a half cup of water and until it is not lumpy. Pour into meat mixture and stir until about the consistency of gravy adding more water or corn starch if necessary.
- Add onions and cook until translucent. Just before serving gently stir in sour cream.
- Serve over hot cooked noodles.
