    HAMBURGER CASSEROLE

    This is my old standby.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound flat noodles or macaroni (actually I just use 2 or 3 big handfulls and have even used broken up spagetti when out of macaroni))
    • 2 pounds of hamburger
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 3/4 cups chopped green pepper (optional)
    • 1 cans tomato sauce (16 ounces)
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 1 can whole kernel corn
    • 1 small can of sliced olives
    • 1 or 2 teaspoons chili powder
    • salt and pepper to taste.
    • 1 to 2 cups shredded chedder cheese


    Instructions


    1. Brown the beef and add onions. Saute til limp. Drain. Add the noodles or macaroni (I used to pre cook them but now I just add them uncooked as they cook in the casserole). Add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT the shredded cheese. Mix and pour into a large greased casserole. Cover with the shredded cheese and bake, uncovered for 1 hour at 350 to 375 degrees.
