    LASAGNA


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound lean ground round
    • 2 medium onions, chopped fine
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
    • 1 can water
    • dash of rosemary
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
    • 1 grated carrot
    • 1 can, or 12 fresh mushrooms, sliced
    • 6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
    • Monteray Jack and/or Mozarella cheese and/or Swiss cheese, grated or cut in thin slabs
    • grated chedder cheese
    • Lasagna noodles, cooked


    Instructions


    1. In a large kettle brown the meat, drain. Add the chopped onion,garlic cloves, tomato sauce, water, rosemary, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, grated carrot and mushrooms. Simmer sauce at least two hours. Longer is even better.
    2. In an oiled or buttered baking dish. Place a layer of the cooked lasagna noodle, layer of the swiss. Monterey ,and/ or Mozarella chees, sliced hard boiled eggs and a layer of the sauce. Repeat and top with the sauce and the grated chedder cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes until done.
