    Pat's Hamburger Casserole

    Similiar then my regular recipe but a little different flavor.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb ground chuck
    2 Tablespoons shortning (did not use)
    2 cups diced canned tomatoes. (could use fresh)
    1 Tablespoon plus ketchup or a good dollop or two
    1/4 cup chopped green pepper (used the whole pepper)
    1/4 cup chopped onion or more
    1 cup or more grated cheddar cheese
    1 can ccondensed cream of mushroom soup
    5 oz box of macaroni- cooked
    salt and pepper to taste.

    Brown meat in shortening until red has disappeared. Add tomatoes, onion, green pepper, ketchup and salt and pepper. Simmer 30 min to an hour. Add cooked macaroni and mushroom soup. Mix well and put in a casserole dish. Top with grated cheese and bake in 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
