    A dear cousin

    List of Ingredients





    1 Cup sugar
    1/2 cup Crisco (I guess you could use any shortening you want)
    1 egg
    3 teaspoon milk or water
    2 cups flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    2 teaspoon baking powder

    Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Set aside. Cream Crisco, add sugar, then egg, then the sifted ingredients and vanilla.

    Flatten on a baking sheet with a fork or glass. Bake at 400 until golden brown.
