    Recipe Introduction


    I thought this recipe was very good and it was very easy too. I did change a few things, mostly because I did not have them on hand.

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 cup crushed cornflakes
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1 teaspoon poultry seasoning (I used Mrs Dash)
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 teaspoon salt (omitted)
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried margoram
    12 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 cup pepper
    --------
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/4 cup reduced-fat French salad dressing (used Ranch dressing)
    6 bone-in chicken breasts, skin removed ( I used boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in half)

    Recipe



    In a shallow bowl mix the first 9 ingredients. In another shallow bowl mix the dressing and lemon juice. Dip the chicken in the lemon/dressing mixture and then in the cornflake mixture. Arrange chicken on a rack in a foil-lined 15 x 10 inch baking pan. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. 4 to 6 servings.
