MAYONNAISE
I remember my mother making this mayonnaise. She had a special jar with a sort of plunger which I still have over in Hana. This was long before people had blenders, etc. She also used a raw egg which is not considered safe nowdays. I wonder if one could use egg beaters instead?
List of Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice.
