HAMBURGER AND VEGETABLE SOUP
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cans of beef broth
- 2 (15 ounces) cubed tomatoes)
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup cubed, peeled potatoes
- 3 tablespoons barley or rice
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven brown beef. Drain. Add the onion and cook until tender. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
