    List of Ingredients










    1 small chopped onion
    1 small bell pepper chopped
    1 pound lean ground beef
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 stalks shopped celery
    32 ounces undrained canned small northern beans
    1/2 medium head cabbage chopped
    28 ounces tomatoes - chopped with liquid
    1 can water - (tomato can)
    4 beef bouillon cubes
    parsley


    Recipe






    In a large pot, brown onions, peppers - brown beef. Add all remaining ingredients except parsley; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley. If cooking for Two: Soup can be frozen in serving-size portions to enjoy months later. Originally recipe called for kidney beans. You can use any kind of beans you like.
