    Cream of Onion Soup


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 large onions [thin slice]
    • 2/3 cups dry white wine
    • 1 1/3 cup chicken broth
    • 2 tsp basil
    • 1/4 tsp thyme
    • 1 1/2 tbs cornstarch
    • 1 1/2 cups evaporated skim milk
    • chopped scallions


    Instructions


    1. Lightly spray large sauce pan, place over low heat. Add onion,cover and cook until onions are wilted.About 15 min.
    2. Add wine,broth, and herbs. Simmer, covered 20 minutes.
    3. Stir together cornstarch and milk mixing well. Add to onion soup. Simmer until thickened. Garnish with parsley
