    Haddock Chowder

    serves 6


    List of Ingredients


    • 2# of haddock
    • 2 cups raw potatoes 1" cubes
    • 3 tbs veg. oil or 3 strips bacon
    • 1 med. onion sliced
    • 2 cups milk
    • 1 tbs butter
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Bring to boil, 4 cups of water or to cover fish. Simmer about 15 min. Remove fish from pot and reserve 3 cups of broth. Add potatoes and cook to till tender. Not soft.
    2. Saute onion in oil about 10 min. Add all ingredients to pot. Heat to boiling. Serve
