    Stuffed Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients

    24 whole stuffing (large) mushrooms
    4 tbl. margarine (melted)
    1 sm. sweet onion (finely chopped)
    3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    3 oz. pkg. cooked bacon pieces
    3/4 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Clean mushrooms and separate stems from caps. Finely dice stems. Melt margarine in skillet and add chopped stems and onions. Saute until onions are translucent and stems are tender. Place bread crumbs and remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix well. Pour margarine mixture over bread crumb mixture, mixing well. Stuff mushroom caps. Bake in single layer in jelly roll pan at 350 for 15-25 minutes.
