Blackberry Nut Bars

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 c. softened margarine
2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 1/3 c. finely chopped pecans
1 jar (12 oz.) blackberry preserves (or flavor of your choice)
Recipe
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in flour and pecans, stirring until a dough forms. Divide dough in half. Press half of dough into greased 9x13 baking pan. Spread with preserves. Place remaining dough on a sheet of waxed paper. Dust with flour and use floured rolling pin to roll dought to 9x13 rectangle. Place over preserves. Patching, if necessary, to completely cover preserves. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 1"x3" bars. Store in airtight container.
