    Chocolate Butter Brickle Bars

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. plus 2 tbl. margarine (softened & divided)
    1/2 tsp. salt (divided)
    1 cup butterscotch chips
    1/4 cup light corn syrup
    1 tbo. water
    1 cup chopped pecans
    1 cup milk chocolate chips

    In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, 1/2 c. margarine and 1/4 tsp. salt. Press into 13x9 pan. Bake 375 for 10 minutes or until golden. While crust is baking, combine butterscotch chips, corn syrup, remaining 2 tbl. butter, water and remaining 1/4 tsp. salt in a small saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in pecans. While crust is still warm, spread mixture over top of crust. Allow to cool completely. Melt chocolate chips and spread over butterscotch layer. Chill 10 minutes or until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.
