    Pecan Toffee Squares

    List of Ingredients




    BASE:
    1 yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 egg

    FILLING:
    1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1-6 oz. pkg chocolate coated toffee bits
    1 c. chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. In large bowl, add cake mix, margarine and 1 egg. Mix with pastry blender. Press into greased pan. Bake for 7 minutes.

    In medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and 1 egg. Mix well. Stir in toffee bits and pecans. Remove pan from oven. Pour filling evenly over warm base. Return to oven. Bake an additional 22-30 minutes or until filling is set. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
