    This recipe makes a very large amount, but ingredients can be reduced accordingly for a smaller group. The key ingredient for keeping these meatballs soft and tender is milk,not eggs, as a binder.

    List of Ingredients




    5 lbs. ground chuck
    1 lb. ground pork
    4 heaping tbl. chopped garlic
    2 tbl. garlic powder
    2 tsp. onion powder
    2 tsp. oregano
    3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. basil
    1 1/2 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    16 oz. milk

    Recipe



    In very large mixing bowl, completely combine all ingredients with hands. Form into 2" meatballs. Bake on jelly roll pans @ 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from pans**. Add to your favorite spaghetti sauce. Simmer on low for 2 hours. Makes approximately 90 meatballs.
    ** I drain them on paper towels before adding to sauce.
