Quick, easy and delicious served with soup, chowder or just by itself... hot out of the oven with butter.
List of Ingredients
3 cups flour (sifted**)
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 (12 ounce) can beer (regular or non-alcoholic)
1/2 cup melted butter
Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix dry ingredients and beer.
Pour into a greased loaf pan. Pour melted butter over mixture (do not stir in). Bake 1 hour, remove from pan and cool for at least 15 minutes.
**Sifting the flour is a must or the bread will be too heavy.
