    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 can (8oz.) almond paste
    Italian pignoli nuts (pine nuts)

    Recipe



    Lightly grease 2 lg. cookie sheets.
    To make dough:
    Sift sugars, flour, salt and set aside. Using a fork break up almond paste into small pieces. In med. bowl, add egg whites, beat with electric mixer and med. speed until smooth. With wooden spoon, stir flour mixture until well blended. Using rounded teaspoon, roll dough into balls and drop and roll in pine nuts. Bake 350 degrees 8-10 minutes or until golden. Remove to rack and cool. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
