    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. Ziti (cooked according to pkg. directions)
    1 lb. ricotta cheese
    2 eggs
    1 c. parmesan cheese
    3 c. shredded mozzarella cheese

    Sauce:
    2 4lb.3 oz. jar spaghetti sauce (recommend Prego Traditional)
    2 15oz. can stewed tomatoes (broken into small pieces)
    2 tbl. olive oil
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1-2 pork chops or country style ribs
    2 heaping tbl. chopped garlic
    2 tsp. oregano
    3 packets Splenda

    TO PREPARE SAUCE:
    Heat olive oil in skillet, saute garlic briefly. Add ground beef and sprinkle with oregano. Cook until no longer pink. Drain fat. Brown pork, in the same skillet, on both sides.
    In dutch oven, pour in spaghetti sauce and stewed tomatoes. Add drained beef, browned pork and two packets of Splenda. Stir well. Simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
    TO PREPARE ZITI:
    In large bowl,add ricotta and eggs. Mix until well blended. Add cooked and drained ziti. Mix well. Spray bottom and sides of lasagna pan with cooking spray. Put a thin layer of sauce in bottom of pan. Evenly spread half of ziti mixture on top of sauce. Top with a layer of sauce. Sprinkle with half of parmesan cheese and half of mozzarella. Repeat layers..ziti, sauce and cheeses. (Make sure to get a little extra sauce down into the 4 corners of the pan). Cover with foil and bake @ 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until hot and steamy in the center. Let sit for at least 20 minutes before serving. Top with more sauce and serve with parmesan cheese.
