    Crockpot Roast Pork

    List of Ingredients




    4 boneless pork loin
    salt & pepper to taste
    3 tbl. oil
    1 med. onion, peeled and cut into 4 rounds
    1/4 c. water or canned chicken or beef broth
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 lg. can mushrooms (do not drain)
    1 pkg. pork gravy mix (I use McCormick's)

    With paper towels, dry roast. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Heat oil in skillet. Brown roast on all sides. Place onion rounds in bottom of crockpot. Place roast on top of onions. Add water to skillet and loosen all brown bits in bottom of skillet. Set aside. In med. bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms with juice from can, water from skillet and pkg of pork gravy mix. Stir until well combined. Pour over pork roast in crockpot. Cover and cook 8-10 hours on low. Thicken gravy if desired, or serve "au jus" as it is.
