    List of Ingredients




    1-1/2 lbs. stew beef (cut into small cubes)
    2 cups diced carrots
    1-1/2 cup diced onion
    1-1/2 cup diced celery
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/2 to 1 cup barley (not instant)
    3 beef boullion cubes
    4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    28 oz. diced stewed tomatoes
    Parmesan Cheese

    In Dutch oven, brown beef. When almost done, add onion and saute. Add a little water to bottom of pan and loosen brown bits. Place in crockpot. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Serve topped with Parmesan Cheese.
