    Corn Chowder

    List of Ingredients

    1/4 c. margarine or 2 tbl. bacon fat
    1 c. onion (diced)
    5-6 potatoes (peeled & diced)
    1 can evaporated milk
    2 can creamed corn
    Salt & pepper

    Recipe

    Saute onion in margarine or bacon fat. Add potatoes to cooked onions and add ONLY enough salted water to cover. Cook onions and potatoes until potatoes are fork tender. DO NOT drain water. Add creamed corn, evaporated milk. Stir and heat through. DO NOT boil. Add salt and pepper and taste. Serve with corn bread or grilled cheese sandwiches.
