1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c, chopped onion
1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes, cut up
1 large green pepper, chopped
1/2 c, uncooked long grain rice
1/2 c, water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c, (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pinnk; drain. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. casserole.
Add the next 8 ingredients.
Cover and bake at 350 deg. for 1 hr. or until the rice is tender.
Uncover and sprinkle with cheese; cook 5 min. longer or until cheese is melted. 4-6 servings.
