    Best Ever Chocolate Fudge

    Milk chocolate give this big batch of moist fudge its special taste.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 C. butter or margarine (2 sticks)
    • 4 1/2 C. sugar
    • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
    • 1 ( 14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
    • 8 ( 1 1/2 oz. each) milk chocolate bars, broken in pieces
    • 1 (12oz.) package simi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 2 C. chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Combine butter, sugar, marshmallow creme and evaporated milk in 3-quart heavy saucepan.
    2. Bring to a boil over medium to low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
    3. Boil steadily over low heat 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    4. Keep mixture at a fairly low boil all the time. The saucepan will be almost full of the cooking mixture.
    5. Remove from heat. Add milk chocolate bars, chocolate chips and nuts; stir until chocolate is melted and blended into mixture.
    6. Pour at once into 2 lightly buttered 9" square pans.

    7. When cool and firm, cut pieces to the size that you want.
    8. Makes about 5 1/2 pounds.
