    List of Ingredients




    8 oz. uncooked manicotti
    1 lb extra-lean ground beef
    1 (9 oz) frozen spinach thawed, squeezed to drain and chopped
    4 oz. mozzarella cheese, diced (about 1 cup)
    1/2 cup purchased pesto (I like the kind with the basil in it too)
    1 egg
    1 (26-28 oz.) jar tomato style pasta sauce

    Recipe



    1. Heat oven to 400 deg. F. Spray 13x9 inch glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cook manicotti to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; rinse with cold water to cool. Drain well.
    2. In large bowl, combine ground beef, spinach cheese, pesto and egg. Mix well.
    3. Fill each manicotti. Place in baking dish. Pour pasta sauce over it. Cover with foil.
    4. Bake at 400 deg. F. for 30 to 40 minutes or until filling is no longer pink in center.
