6 ounces cream cheese
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon dill weed
2 tablespoons finely grated or minced carrots
2 tablespoons minced cucumber
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Recipe
Combine cream cheese and mayonnaise. Beat until blended. Add dill weed, carrots, cucumber and green onion and mix well.
Makes enough spread for 10 regular sandwiches or 40 cocktail sandwiches. It also will make 20 to 22 open-face sandwiches using 3-inch rounds cut from bread slices.
